Nancy Cinatl

Conservation Foundation Cicerone

Nancy Cinatl graduated from college with a BA in Biology but initially followed a different career path spending 11 years in retail brokerage and then the balance of her work career as a bookkeeper for small business owners. However, a lifelong love of all things biology, ecology, and plants led her to take horticulture classes where she discovered her true calling in a Landscaping for Wildlife class by Jim Kleinwachter of The Conservation Foundation; and there she subsequently found employment. Nancy loves educating others one to one or through presentations about the benefits of gardening with native plants, garden design concepts, and the beneficial interactions between plants and animals as well as water conservation. Since she brought along financial skills, Nancy also provides accounting services for three watershed workgroups that are staffed by The Conservation Foundation.
