Native Yard Transformation Expert

Jim has a passion for nature and landscape transformation.

He works to preserve land as open space for The Conservation Foundation. In that duty, Jim works with government agencies and private landowners to negotiate open space purchases, facilitate land donations and conservation easements.  He lectures all over the region on local environmental issues, and actively works with homeowners and business property owners to improve the environmental conditions of their sites.

He created the Conservation@Home program, teaching about sustainable landscaping practices so that homeowners are able to transform their yards to be ecologically friendly.
