Abstract action painter, sculptor, writer, composer, cartoonist, and behavioral scientist, Russ Riendeau takes curiosity and “there are no rules in art” on a wild, disruptive ride with unique perspectives of color, symbols and primeval images. Creating eclectic pieces of usable, funky, juxtaposed art and sculptures for many years, his works has appeared at ArtPrize, Chicago Art Festivals, and Forth Fridays. His “The Everest Easel”- the tallest, portable easel in the world—now a public installation at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
