Jacyara de Oliviera
Jacyara de Oliveira has been involved in the beverage industry of Chicago for the last 7 years. She started as a bar-back and server at the esteemed cocktail lounge and restaurant, The Drawing Room, where she learned the world of spirits and cocktails from the best in the business. She later moved on to bar tend at several locations throughout the city including Perennial Virant, Belly Q, and Folklore. She was on the opening teams at Nico Osteria and Sportsman's Club, where her responsibilities were elevated to managing the bar and leading additional programming over the next two years.
In 2016, de Oliveira left Chicago to pursue a cross-country bicycle tour that launched from New York City and landed a new job at Rob Roy in Seattle, Washington. There, she won the Speed Rack Seattle competition in 2017. Previously, she won several other awards, including the esteemed Jean Banchet Award for Best Mixologist (2016), Speed Rack Chicago (2015), and joined the StarChef Rising Stars Class of 2015. Jacyara de Oliveira has been recognized as one of Food & Wine's “Rising Stars” as well as one of the “Women to Watch” in the bar world.
